 Last week, Tokomaru School walked over to the Tokomaru Fire Station for a Fire Safety Lesson. When we arrived we lined up in pairs of 6.

We went in the smoke room which is a room filled with smoke make from peanut oil.It was hard to breath and you have to stay down as your meant to do in a real fire. We went under tables and  could not see anything.

At the end you will be greeted with lolly pops and juice, and also a booklet. The lolly pops were great! After that the firemen talked to us about what you do in a fire and if you here a Darf vador sound go to it not away because it is a fire men with a oxygen mask to breath. it has to be as realistic as possible.

at the end when we were about to go we had to have a picture taken of our school next to a fire truck. Justin and Carmen were dressed up as flint and amber to make the little kids happy. they gave us a certificate for being fire wise! after that we walked back to toko school with our certificates, lollie pops and booklets.
