On Thursday 16th room 6 went to Te Manawa to learn about erosion. I was in Mr Clark's car with Moio, Stewart and Te. We finally made it, to be welcomed by a hall of mirrors. Barbara sat down and talked about what we know about water, and then took us to the water room. She told us how to play poo sticks, we then got a ice block stick and dropped it into a stream that was made inside. At the end there was an area were we played a card game. First Babara's assistant Alwyn gave my group of 3 a tray that had 3 animals, 1 tree a fence and a coloured Lego piece that would represent our house. Babara tipped some sand in the end area to represent land. We put our farms on the sand and turned on the tap. all the water made the land break off and fall into the river. Afterwards we looked at the museum. In my opinion it was a bit small but in the end of the day i had loads of fun.
