my holiday!!!!!!

In the summer summer holidays my family went to the Gold Coast, Australia for one week. We flew from Wellington to Brisbane. we arrived the day Brisbane had the bad floods. it was raining heavily but we just HAD to travel to the gold coast! we finally got there and we were very happy, we arrived safely and we were very far away from Brisbane. we packed all our stuff in our cottage and decided we needed a good night sleep. it was hard to get to sleep as it was so hot. In the morning we got ready to go to the Dracula's haunted house as it was spitting. It was awesome! It had heaps of scary clowns, zombies, mummys, spiders and more! It was five stores high! the next morning was very sunny, so we decided to go to Movie World! they showed journey to the center of the earth in 4D! It was so awesome!!!! you could even fell the floor shaking as the tyrannosaurus was running out of the screen. there were lots of roller coasters and rides, but my favourite ride was the scooby-doo spooky coaster. It was so hot and we stayed there the whole day. My feet were sore. The next day we went to Australia zoo. we were lucky that the Bruce highway was open because it has been closed the day before due to flooding. The zoo was massive and i got to hold a koala, an alligator and a very long python. the Irwin family ( the owners of the zoo) performed a show in the crocasium. we also went to dream world, were i saw a wild snake in the bushes! My favourite ride at dream world was the tower of terror. we also did lots and lots of shopping. Our cottage were we stayed had a pool and a spa. I think that the Australian wildlife is amazing, there are wild bats flying around, big Australian water dragons (or lizards) and geckos by the outside light, eating sand flies at night. i was sad to come home, and not only was my holiday the best holiday ever, but a holiday i would never forget!
